Maintaining religious freedom is as important as any political discussion one might have. Recently the White House has determined that the Catholic Church and every religious Church or organization must comply and do things contrary to their beliefs. OK, the issues is about contraception. Christians do not agree with the Catholic position, but Christians do stand together against the government interfering with church doctrine. White House, you know your position on this is wrong. Stop it! Well, the White House likely will not stop forcing their agenda on religion unless it is politically expedient to do so.
So, how can they continue to force their agenda on religion? Simple, change the subject!
Today the subject is about women’s rights to have tax payers provide contraceptives to all women. Change the subject! It appear to be working–at least with the public media. But don’t fool yourselves! Catholics and Christians have a long memory when it comes to their freedom. Just try us!
Along comes a young lady. A college student at George Washington University. A Senator, who is the right-hand woman for the White House, asks this young lady to testify on a panel of the senator’s choosing. She becomes the poster child for the White Houses Agenda to change the subject to conception rather than religious freedom. Pow, they have successfully changed the subject! Maybe!
An ultra conservative radio personality brings the subject farther off topic, by calling this young lady insulting names. Don’t be drawn off topic! The topic is: Should the government be allowed to tell religious organizations what they must or must not do?
What do you think?

As individuals we made choices. Some good and some bad. Our choices have defined who and what we are today–for the better or worse. The American society has made choices that have gotten us to where we are today–for the better or worse. Most Americans believe they are worse off today. Why? What are some of the bad choices Americans have made?

Before you answer, know that choices and consequences are much like physics. For every action their is a positive or negative reaction. America is experiencing negative consequences. Why? What are the bad choices we have made?

All the major world religions contain this similar teaching: What you plant you will also reap! What have Americans planted and now we are reaping?

For example, we have planted greed in the hearts of most Americans. Workers tend to be interested in only their pay check and care little about their employer being profitable. Executives are mostly interested in the bottom line and have little concern for their employees–thus, Labor Unions.

Please, challenge these thoughts and add some of your own.
